It's been a rough year, and I know I'm not alone. We're all going through stuff and whether its COVID related or not, I think wellness has become a big part of everyone's life.
Everyone's idea of wellness is different. My routine tends to give more emphasis to my physical health rather than mental, but the mental wellness is definitely there. Physically, I have been working out a lot more this year as opposed to last. But mentally, I've been dealing with alot of stress, to the point where I just feel like how is stress even a word, there must be something more? right?
I just struggle sometimes to really find things that can help calm me down. I've always been a person who has to be doing something. I can't sit still. One time while I was getting a facial done, the esthetician, in her attempt to help soothe me, continued to lay the chair back to the point to where it was a bed. I just could not sit still. It's exhausting, and it's a tough habit to break.
I've talked about CBD before on my blog, specifically CBD beauty, but this is the first time I've ever discussed oils. Just to reiterate in my last CBD blog, CBD does not have THC, so it won't make you high. CBD is made from extracting cannabinoids from the marijuana plant, and diluting it with coconut or hemp seed oil. All and all, its a very natural process and a natural oil. The oil can be used externally or internally.
There are so many benefits to CBD from using it to ease chronic pain, relief for stress and anxiety and post-workout recovery. I've been using it for stress and post workouts. For stress I've been finding it is very soothing. I feel at ease and it really helps me sleep at night, which is also something that I've been struggling with. As I said before, I've been working out alot, to the point where my body is super sore the next day and I can't get up from bed. Post workout, I just use 1-2 drops.
I would recommend CBD to anyone who is looking for a natural way to benefit both their physical and mental health. The great thing about this is that you can use it for both. This isn't a cure all, but it can help you get there. I used Begum C's Relief X pain drops and I would highly recommend this.
